With increasing frequency, colleges and universities are making use of Web-based plagiarism checking services to scan papers for stolen material. And the consequences can be dire: at one end of the spectrum, a failing grade for the assignment; at the other end, dismissal from an academic program. If you are intentionally plagiarizing in your paper, thesis, or dissertation, this should give you pause. But if you are not intentionally plagiarizing, there could still be reason for concern. Plagiarism checking software catches an ever-growing amount of appropriated material–and sometimes the student has not even meant to do anything wrong! In what follows, I’d like to offer some simple tips for avoiding plagiarism of the unintentional variety.

1. Know what constitutes plagiarism. Simply put, plagiarism is the use of the words or ideas of another person without giving credit to the person from whom they are borrowed. Right off the bat, this tells us something important: you can’t simply change a few words of a borrowed text (so that the passage is no longer a direct quotation) and think that you are out of danger. Unless the material is “common knowledge,” a citation is needed for any material you borrow–whether it is a direction quotation, a paraphrase, or even just an idea.

2. Know what your professor will look for. Even before the advent of the computer, professors caught students who plagiarized; the Internet has just made it much, much easier. So what might give a clue to a professor that the material you’ve presented as your own really came from someone else?
Fluctuations in style Vocabulary that isn’t typical for you Harsh connections between passages Deviations in the point of view from which the text is written Contradictions in the theories or positions maintained in the paper The failure of the paper to address the specific topic assigned (suggesting it may have been borrowed or purchased) The unavailability in your university/college library of the sources referenced in the paper The use of exclusively Web-based sources Recognizing the material (Your professor is probably an expert in this field, after all!)

On its own, nothing on this list is a guarantee that material has been plagiarized. However, the combination of several of these points will certainly raise suspicions and will probably cause your professor to dig deeper.

3. Know how anti-plagiarism programs work. If your college, university, or professor is using a Web-based anti-plagiarism service, it’s a good idea to know what the program searches for. If you’re intentionally plagiarizing, chances are that you won’t outsmart these programs; if you’re not intentionally plagiarizing, understanding the programs will help you to avoid plagiarizing inadvertently. Anti-plagiarism programs currently in use do a combination of the following:
Search the Internet for word strings that may have been lifted. The easiest way to get caught plagiarizing is to take something from a source available on the Internet. You will almost certainly get caught, as even the simplest and cheapest programs do this much. Search cached sources. Even if your source is no longer available on the Web, it may still be available to the anti-plagiarism search as long as it was on the Web at one time. Search databases of papers, theses, dissertations, articles, and books, usually comparing your paper against millions of archived sources. This means that even print sources that have never been available on the Internet may turn up in the search. Compare documents. This allows professors and universities to submit multiple papers (even over a number of years) to compare them for material that they share in common. Make internal comparisons. The more sophisticated programs use algorithms to examine sentence structure and synonyms, allowing them to catch even paraphrased material that has not been copied exactly.
4. Don’t cut-and-paste. By definition, if you are doing this, you are borrowing material, and you’re likely to leave clues (see tip #2, above). NOTE that this rule applies even to borrowing your own material from papers you’ve written previously. If you ignore this rule, then be sure to cite the source of whatever you’ve borrowed.

5. Don’t paraphrase without citing the source. Yes, it’s plagiarism even if you change the words. If it’s someone else’s idea, a citation is needed. Always.

6. If you use someone else’s words, always use quotation marks (or block quote formatting). No exceptions. Period.

7. Know your style sheet. Each academic style sheet (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, Turabian), has its own conventions for citing sources. If you don’t follow the right conventions, you could inadvertently wind up being accused of stealing the material.

8. Beware of “common knowledge.” This is the one big gray area–what really is “common knowledge”? If there’s the slightest doubt in your mind, find the source and cite it. If you can’t find the source, drop the material from your paper.

9. Get your work edited. Whether you rely on a professional editing service, a professor, someone from your college’s writing center, or a really smart friend, a second set of eyes may catch what you missed, saving you a major hassle in the end.

10. When in doubt, CITE!

A US toy firm has begun development of pre-school educational software applications for Apple’s new iPad e-book.

The new ‘apps’ from San Diego-based children’s educational toy company DANO2 use the iPad’s touch-screen display to make the games more interactive and rewarding.

Their first game is Little Sky Writers, which teaches kids to write the letters of the alphabet by guiding a small aeroplane with their finger.

Guidance and amusing commentary are provided by the voice of Roger the air traffic controller, played by comedian and Nikcleodeon children’s TV star Stephen Kramer Glickman.

The app was designed with the help of experienced nursery teachers and educational professionals. The developers claim that the game is so intuitive and fun that it reaches children long before a traditional school workbook can.

Design consultant for the game and California nursery teacher Diane Owen has been training teachers and teaching kids how to write the alphabet for some 30 years.

She says that she looks forward to using her “dream program for hands-on and kinaesthetic learners” this school year.

Ms Owen says that one advantage of Little Sky Writers is that it recognises and points out mistakes in pupil’s writing straight away.

Ms Owen is piloting the software with a single iPad in her classes this autumn, but she has already begun applying for a grant to expand the number of the devices in her classroom.

She feels that it is a better and more affordable tool for students than traditional computers.

“My students are low income”, Ms Owen says. “Many do not have the same access to technology as their higher-income counterparts.

“With this grant, not only will they learn how to write their letters properly, but they will also gain a crucial confidence with technology at an early age.”

DANO2 vice president for educational development Lauren Monahan says: “Little Sky Writers gives kids who require a more active approach to learning a fair chance to develop educational success, and accompanying confidence much earlier.”

Like Ms Owen, Ms Monahan, who was recently awarded a grant to attend an MIT conference on education and technology, believes that the iPad should not be viewed as an expensive toy, but rather an inexpensive computer – one who’s intuitive touch screen display makes it the ideal tool for children.

DANO2 is a family owned company based in the town of Carlsbad in California. It manufactures all of its products in the USA using environmentally friendly, medical grade materials that are free from the plastics PVC, phthalate, and BPA.

The firm insists that all of its products are designed with input from education and health care professionals and are independently tested for safety.

Children Educational Toys

A computer helps to manipulate data according to a list of instructions, called a program. It can save a lot of data and produce the same, instantly. It is also called a universal information-processing machine. It is a common operating system used in corporate businesses, educational organizations and many research programs. The computer technology has been used proficiently in various educational fields. There are many professional courses that program their curriculum on computers. It enables the students and teachers to methodically study or conduct classes.

Most schools highlight the importance of computer education. They provide computer education to children, at a very young age. It helps them to learn and develop interest in the basics of computers. The main purpose is to make them comfortable using the system, as the future holds a bright promise for the technology. Many students become proficient and plan to pursue careers in the world of computers.

Computers are used in running school and college administrations, during the admission procedures, storing of official and student records. They are also used in syllabus planning and decision-making, controlling, assisting instructions and simulation. Computers are helpful in directing aptitude tests and achievement tests, at the time of entrance exams. There is computer software designed to process performances related to teachers and employees promotion avenues. They also process records of salaries, examinations, schemes of examination, printing of papers and question papers, evaluation of answer sheets, mark sheets and certificates.

Computers are used in colleges, by the professors, to conduct special classes and enable their students to adopt a methodical way of study. Students take more interest in the documented programs, designed on different topics. Internet has provided a favorable means of pursuing courses from renowned universities, across the world. These facilities become available at a click of the mouse.

What is Plagiarism?

In the academic world, plagiarism is known as stealing someone else’s written work and ideas and presenting them as your own. Plagiarism is a very common problem faced by students because of lack of awareness. Sometimes students don’t plagiarize intentionally, but because of lack of awareness they become a victim of plagiarism.

Following are 5 effective guidelines to avoid plagiarism:

Inserting Citations
Sometimes students search for required information on the internet and gather different ideas from various sources with out inserting proper citations that can provide guidance to their teacher about their references and the sources. You may use ideas of the author but you should use your own words when writing about a certain idea and the exact source or reference so that the teacher can check and confirm that your work is not plagiarized. If you do not use proper citations even if you have paraphrased the work, it will still be considered as plagiarized text.

Using Software
It is extremely important for the teachers to guide the students about using particular software that can detect unintentional plagiarized work.

Correct Selection of Sentences
Try to avoid words and sentences that are commonly used by every author. For instance, if you use something like “Once Upon A Time” which is very common, you can be caught plagiarizing unintentionally.

Change your words
While paraphrasing an author’s work use your own words. Don’t ever mix it up with your own and author’s words. Strictly practice to come up with your own words and sentences so as to make it original.

Use Quotations
If you intend to copy paste something that you feel cannot be regenerated in your own words, than use quotations with inverted comas and inserting citations. Sentences or words using inverted commas will be an indication for your teacher that your work is not plagiarized.

Be aware of plagiarism and don’t just blindly work on your essays and term papers just to get rid of work. Try to religiously practice these guidelines in order to make your custom essays, term papers, research reports, assignments, thesis, and dissertations plagiarism free and obtain higher grades.

Finding quality educational software for your children requires a bit of research. A myriad of sites with educational games are available. These games range from early counting games to more complex games teaching the use of fractions and decimals. On the reading spectrum, educational software includes letter recognition and phonics all the way to writing your own story and answering questions about reading passages. Educational software exists on any subject, teaching children everything from foreign languages to beginner music lessons.

Many of these software programs are expensive. The designers, writers, and educators who work on the programs can make for pricy overhead. Websites are the same. Many websites allow you to pay a monthly fee and then to log on to play the games. The monthly fees vary from a couple of dollars to $20 or more per month. Other sites are free. Starfall.com is one of the most commonly used websites for children’s educational games. Starfall.com includes games that teach preschoolers basic concepts, and many children can play these games with minimal adult supervision.

Another option is to look for completely free software downloads, however. This type of software, called “freeware” in Internet lexicon, means anyone can use this software without paying any type of licensing fee. Some of these programs are open source, which means interested people can alter the code of the software to make them better or more complicated.

Two examples of free downloadable titles are TuxMath and GCompris. TuxMath, which is open source, is a math-based program in which students are playing a video game. They must answer math questions correctly to be able to shoot targets. GCompris is a program for younger children to learn shapes and numbers. These programs are only two of the hundreds available.

Freeware has a number of benefits for educators. Parents who are homeschooling often find themselves bombarded with the need to purchase everything from notebooks and pencils to supplies for science projects. By using free software and free educational websites, home schooling parents can educate their children for free. Even for non-home schooling parents, freeware is a way to keep children having fun while they’re learning. Students can play games on the weekends or in the evenings. These games are very effective in helping children learn concepts, and with freeware they’re much less expensive than using tutors or paid software programs.

Freeware also works well in schools. Because these programs aren’t available for home use only in most cases, teachers in financially squeezed school districts can look for free programs to help keep their students interested and occupied. Teachers simply can download these programs for free and put them as desktop links. Letting students play on computers when they’re done with their work is a great incentive for students to complete their work. Teachers also use these programs for students as group-learning projects.

John Hechinger’s article in The Wall Street Journal, “Problem: Boys Don’t Like to Read.

Solution: Books That Are Really Gross,” really raised a powerful business opportunity. The article describes the growth of toilet paper-wrapped, potty-humor and dehumanization to entice boys to read as a major marketing trust for young male books. The implication is that this is what it takes to get modern American boys to read. And part of the problem is that the only other alternative the public education seems to support is “girly” books that bore boys to tears.

That boys are different than girls is not a major new discovery, or that they learn differently. So instead of reading the books offered at school, apparently tailored for girls and not boys, these boys will read non-fiction, sports, and topical magazines when out of school, but not the ones offered by their teachers.

Before I start, realize this is purely my opinion but it needs to be clearly stated. Okay so, if you are a far left-leaning social-liberal progressive Democrat and you just happen to be a writer, you might be in luck. And let me tell you why; there are progressive media groups, one very famous one in Chicago, one which helped get very prominent politicians elected in the past.

And now they are up to their old schemes again of hiring professional writers to write op-ed pieces and letters to the editor, which they will then distribute to social-liberal progressive voters in various states, who will then sign these letters, as if they wrote them themselves; and then send these into their local newspaper editors.

Now, I know that sounds very dishonest, but that’s how politics works in this country. Now the editors of the newspaper know what’s going on, but they still publish these letters to the reader anyway, all the while knowing that the individual sending in the letter didn’t write it. In fact, the editors often get the same letter from notable people, from multiple individuals. It would be nice if the editors to all the newspapers would simply not publish this stuff, as it is all obviously part of a campaign to manipulate the media, but the newspapers publish them anyway.

This is really too bad, but since the newspapers allow this manipulation to go on, and often have writers who are left-leaning politically inclined reporters – it is just business as usual. Which brings me to my next point, I wish newspaper editors will take their job more seriously than this – and maybe it is okay if half the newspapers in the country are nearly bankrupt, because they don’t deserve to be in business if this is how they choose to operate, and yes, they do have a choice.

They have the choice of integrity in journalism, and to take a stand for honesty – but obviously they won’t.

What’s even more interesting is that the progressive media group in Chicago has previously put out 2500 op-ed pieces (according to their own website) sending them around the country to individuals to send them to their local newspaper with their name on it. It doesn’t take very much to find out using plagiarism software that these articles have been posted elsewhere in the country under different names, therefore, the person submitting it to them obviously did not write it.

If a newspaper editor allows this, and still publishes the op Ed piece, they are doing a disservice to our nation, to the voters, and to the integrity of the newspaper media overall. This in my opinion is totally unacceptable, and it proves you can’t believe anything you read in the newspaper anymore. Personally, I feel sickened by what I’ve learned – that these tactics go on every day during the political season. Please consider all this.

Spiritual healing is an important science that helps people to overcome problems that have their root cause in the spiritual realm. However unless the principles of this subtle science are understood and adhered to, spiritual healers can be negatively impacted by practicing spiritual healing. The most sustainable form of spiritual healing is enabling the person in trouble to begin and continue their spiritual practice.

1. What is Spiritual Healing?

Spiritual research done by Spiritual Science Research Foundation (SSRF) has shown that up to 80% of problems in our lives have their root in the spiritual dimension. Spiritual healing as defined by SSRF is overcoming the spiritual root causes of problems by spiritual means.

2. Difference between symptoms displayed and the root cause

It is important to differentiate the symptoms displayed by a person and the basic root cause. We can better understand this by an example.

Let’s say John throws a bucket of water on the floor in Jane’s room when she is not there. He then hides himself to watch Jane’s reaction on her return. When Jane enters the room she searches high and low for the cause but cannot find the reason for the water on the floor. She then goes on to wipe the floor. John lets out an evil chuckle under his breath at Jane’s plight and ignorance about the root cause.

This is a typical analogy of how a spiritual reason such as an attack by a ghost (John) can cause a problem in life such as a heart condition (i.e. the water on the floor). Due to the fact that we do not have the sixth sense vision to see or perceive the ghost, our search for the cause of, for example, the chest pain remains limited only to the physical or psychological dimension.

3. What does Spiritual Healing heal?

We can now appreciate that in cases of heart disease resulting from a spiritual root cause, medical or surgical treatment can only alleviate the consequent damage done by the spiritual root cause. Thus by treating the heart condition by surgery or medicine, medical sciences can at best bring about a symptomatic cure. The condition however reoccurs as the root cause, for example, the ghost, is not taken care of.

Spiritual healing is about diagnosis and removal of the spiritual root cause of the problem, that is, the ghost in the above example of heart disease. It could also be used for stopping a potential problem happening in the first place.

Though advanced spiritual healing remedies can also revert the physical damage done, in most cases it is advisable to use physical measures (treatment) to alleviate the physical damage (i.e. the water in our example above). This is because one would have to use a lot of spiritual energy to achieve what can be done with comparatively lower input at a physical level. This is considering that spiritual energy is invaluable and extremely difficult to acquire compared to any physical effort.

It is for this reason that the Spiritual Science Research Foundation (SSRF) emphasises that only the appropriate level of energy be used for treating a problem. So for example, if a person is having eczema due to a spiritual root cause, it needs to be treated at a physical level with medicines and the spiritual root cause needs to be alleviated by spiritual remedies.

4. Basic principles behind spiritual healing

a. Principle behind diagnosis

Diagnosis of a problem that has its root cause in the spiritual realm can only be done with one’s sixth sense (ESP). The accuracy of a diagnosis can vary considerably and is a function of 2 basic factors:

The person’s sixth sense (ESP) ability and spiritual level versus the strength of the affecting entity or ghost (demon, devil, spirit, etc.) Destiny that decides the duration of sufferings Resolve of the guiding Saint of the spiritual healer

b. Principle behind any type of spiritual healing

The following is the principle behind any type of spiritual healing treatment practiced anywhere in the world.

Basically by applying spiritual healing remedies we try to:

Decrease the subtle basic raja-tama components caused by the ghosts Increase the subtle basic sattva component Try to remove or at least decrease the layer of black energy created by ghosts which is inherently raja-tama. (Sattva (purity, Divinity), raja (action, passion) and tama (ignorance, inertia) are basic subtle components entire Creation is made of and which modern sciences have not yet ‘discovered’)

5. Generic types of spiritual healing methods

There are two generic methods of spiritual healing. These are the two choices that apply to all of us who have a problem that has its root cause in the spiritual realm.

Spiritual remedies: This is where either someone else or the affected person himself performs a certain specific act to alleviate a certain problem at a spiritual level. Spiritual practice: When a person does spiritual practice that conforms to the five basic principles of spiritual practice he builds his own ability to protect himself against harmful elements in the spiritual dimension

The first method of healing mostly brings about symptomatic cure and sometimes cure of the spiritual root cause, while the second brings about cure of the root cause of a spiritual problem.

6. Modes of spiritual healing

The energy being channelised for healing is brought about through:

Use of an inanimate object such as holy water or holy ash. Through a person
Through a person (generally the person has to be above 50% spiritual level) Through a Saint i.e. a person above the 70% spiritual level. (Here spiritual level is defined on a scale from 0% to 100% where inanimate objects would be at 0% and a God Realised Soul, i.e. someone Who has merged with God Principle, would be at 100%)

Depending on the mode used, the mechanism of action, i.e. how energy is channelised, changes.

7. Importance of spiritual level of the healer in treating others

The spiritual level of spiritual healers is the all important aspect which defines:

How they are able to treat others What healing methods they can use and The types of Universal energies they have access to

8. Types of healing

Examples of various spiritual healing techniques that are commonly used to heal others can be: Chanting the Lord’s name: Chanting for others is possible only when one is at the minimum spiritual level of 37% and is the easiest way to help another person. Prayers and surrender: When we pray we acknowledge our lack of ability to solve a problem. This surrender of the problem also helps in reducing our ego and therefore a temporary rise in spiritual level. As a result, we are able to access energy of the mind which sends energy behind our prayer for others. Hence our prayers to heal others work. Spiritual healing techniques: Spiritual healing techniques such as Pranic healing and Reiki actually use the energy of the mind augmented by the Universal Energy of Will. This type of spiritual healing can only be done by a person around the 50% spiritual level. They do not access any universal vital energy. Vital energy only exists at an individual level and not at a Universal level. When one has access to energy of the mind one is able to control the vital energy in the vital body.

A person who is below the spiritual level of 50% technically cannot heal using these methods. This is because they do not have enough access to Universal energies. In case where a person below the spiritual level of 50% is able to do seemingly miraculous cures by Pranic healing or Reiki, invariably it is ghosts healing through them. Ghosts use these healers to affect society. While there may be temporary relief or miraculous cure from a problem, ghosts use the faith people have in the healer to infuse people with black energy and lead people astray.

9. What is the catalyst to channelise spiritual energies?

The main deciding factor as to whether a person has the ability to heal is based on the amount of spiritual practice he/she has done and the corresponding spiritual level. This spiritual practice can either be of this lifetime or a previous lifetime.

The healer’s desire to heal is a secondary factor that helps hone a spiritual healer’s ability to heal.

10. How will one know if one needs spiritual healing at all?

Spiritual research conducted by the Spiritual Science Research Foundation (SSRF) over the past 20 years has revealed that 80% of problems in life have their root cause in the spiritual dimension. Thus these problems can be overcome completely only by complementing worldly efforts with remedies in the spiritual dimension. This explains the overwhelming importance of spiritual healing in solving problems in one’s life.

It is difficult to decide with the help of intellect whether one needs to augment spiritual practice with other spiritual remedies. Only Saints and people with strong extrasensory perception (ESP) or sixth sense can really say with authority whether a spiritual healing remedy is needed because only they can diagnose whether the problem has a spiritual root cause.

However one can also make a decision based on their intellect if the following are observed:

Problems that do not go away despite best of worldly efforts. Chronic or recurrent problems with no apparent cause. Problems affecting many people in a family simultaneously. Problems that exacerbate around new moon and full moon. Problems that are alleviated at least partially when the affected person is exposed to a spiritually positive environment like being in company of Saints.

So in summary it is advisable to do spiritual practice, a type of spiritual remedy, on a daily basis.

11. Can harm come to one in anyway, if spiritual healing is done incorrectly?

The short answer is – yes. Following are some of the ways it can be harmful:

Healers that are after fame and fortune and of lower spiritual level are most likely to be targeted by ghosts. Higher level ghosts use these defects and attachments in the spiritual healer to affect and possess them. The possession is insidious and intangible and the healer would not have the faintest clue that he is being controlled by a ghost. Hence it goes unnoticed. Once they have possessed the healer, they initially alleviate symptoms of the persons treated by the healer through their spiritual strength to get their faith but also to infuse black energy into the treated persons.

If the healer does not have an advanced sixth sense he may not be able to discern the difference between positive and negative in the subtle world. Hence while the healer may think he is channelising energy from spirit guides he is actually healing with black energy of ghosts posing as spirit guides. So even though the initial symptoms may be cured to gain the patient’s faith, the long term effects are quite damaging.

12. Who should we heal and when should we heal?

At the outset we need to understand two important principles.

The best type of spiritual healing is when a person does spiritual practice for oneself. In this way, one builds up one’s own spiritual reserves so that he is less prone to attack from the spiritual dimension. Doing regular spiritual practice is also far more sustainable as a protective measure than being spiritually healed using some form of spiritual healing. As much as possible spiritual healers need to encourage people to begin and be regular with their spiritual practice, even if they continue to come for healing. Spiritual practice complements the spiritual healer’s efforts in removing the problem. Spiritual growth to realise God is our main purpose in life. Accordingly if all our actions, spiritual healing or otherwise are aligned to assist ourselves and others to progress spiritually we benefit maximally.

Given the above, spiritual healers’ time and energy is best spent when they help other people to overcome any spiritual obstacles that are inhibiting them from practising Spirituality. In this way they are helping people grow spiritually. From a purely spiritual perspective, it is best that one does not use spiritual healing energy on people that have no intention of starting spiritual practice. The reason for this is that unless a person does spiritual practice to augment the spiritual healing, it at best brings about temporary relief as the affecting entity can cause harm in other areas of life or the person can be affected repeatedly by other entities. Spiritual healers have access to Universal energy appropriate to their spiritual level. Along with this comes a responsibility to help people to grow spiritually which is being in alignment with our purpose of life. If this is not the case a spiritual healer begins to stagnate and invariably deteriorates in his spiritual level and can potentially be used by ghosts.

It is advisable not to get emotionally carried away healing people just for the sake of healing. If it is in a person’s destiny to go through a certain amount of suffering then all we do is alleviate it temporarily. But the person still has to go through the required quota of suffering. Instead, it would be spiritually more correct if our intention was to heal a person so he gets the faith that the spiritual dimension does exist and this in turn inspires him to begin his spiritual practice.

In summary

Spiritual healing is practised by many people worldwide. Only by understanding the principles and the spiritual perspective on ‘who’ and ‘when’ to heal can we be sure to be in alignment with the purpose of life. The best spiritual healing gift that one can give others is assisting them in beginning their spiritual practice so that they can help themselves. This is akin to giving a person a fishing rod and making him independent as opposed to spoon-feeding him and giving him a fish.

In its 23 November, 2006, issue the world renowned scientific magazine Nature carried a special report titled “Anti-evolutionists raise their profile in Europe.” The report covered a workshop called “Teaching evolution theory in Europe” organized by a Polish biologist called Maciej Giertych for members of the European Parliament.

The report in Nature magazine discussed the place occupied by the subjects of evolution and creation in school curricula in such European countries as Italy, Germany, Poland, France and Great Britain. It also covered the work of the Science Research Foundation in Turkey:

“The movement is by far the strongest in Turkey, however, which is in negotiations to join the European Union. The main Muslim creationist organization [is] the Turkish Bilim ve Arastirma Vakfi… Prominent US creationists are also frequently invited by the group to give talks.

Jones has just returned from the Istanbul book fair, where he says many creationist publications were on sale, and proving extremely popular. ‘Creationism is a major issue in Turkish politics; the debate is much more tense than in the United States,’ he says. ‘All biology textbooks now used in schools are creationist in tone.’”

The report also covered the debate stemming from the teaching of the fact of Creation in various schools in Germany, and what went on following the removal of the theory of evolution from middle school curricula in Italy at the request of Education Minister Letizia Moratti.

The article also cited examples of creation research conducted by creationist groups in Russia, and stated that there was a rapid rise in creationism, particularly in Great Britain:

“Steve Jones, a geneticist at University College London who has lectured widely about evolution, is one of those concerned by the growing influence of creationist groups. ‘I have talked about evolution in front of more than 100,000 British schoolchildren in the past 20 years – during most of that time I was never asked questions about creationism,’ he says. ‘But in the past couple of years, wherever I go I am asked about it.’”

At the end of the report Jones states his belief that the theory of evolution will never lose influence in European countries as it has in the USA and that evolution will always remain powerful, but that he does not feel the same regarding Turkey. These statements reveal the powerful impact of the BAV and of Harun Yahya’s works on Darwinism.
